The MPSL-MLML is headed by Rusty Fairey with a growing list of staff. We also regularly employ a number of graduate students from MLML and undergraduate students from CSUMB and UCSC during the field season.

We have the capacity to collect water, sediment, and tissue samples in fresh, estuarine, or salt water environments. We are also becoming more involved with database development, structure, and implementation due to the Surface Waters Ambient Monitoring Program (SWAMP).
